Wesley Chapel Team

at the "middle of the world"

Yesterday the Wesley Chapel team travelled from Nairobi to Eldoret.  Highlights of the trip were a stop at a lookout point to view the Great Rift Valley and an inactive volcano, Mt. Longonot.  Some of the team (those who were not sleeping) had the opportunity to see zebra, impala and eland grazing in a field alongside the road.  The rain held off long enough to have pictures  taken at the sign posted at the crossing of the equator.  These opportunities will not be forgotten easily.

At this point on the equator, the altitidude is 9100ft!
